Since 1950, Rongved has operated a workshop near Bergen, together with Kari Rongved. They produce functional objects—such as bowls, jars, platters, candlesticks, and oil lamps—as well as decorative tiles, reliefs, and sculptures. Kari Rongved is primarily responsible for creating the functional ceramics, which are made from high-fired, colored earthenware, typically finished with glazes in various shades of a few earthy tones. Some larger platters also feature floral and botanical motifs rendered in bold green and blue glaze.

This is a rare example of their work and in excellent condition
