This is an Eames Aluminum Group Management Desk Chair, model EA335, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1958. This example dates to 2007. Their design includes a sturdy yet lightweight aluminum frame, and the upholstery is done in a smooth cream suede fabric that is sublime. It has a tilting function with a locking function, and has a full 360-degree swing. These models have a manual lifting mechanism.
