This lamp was produced by Danish company Desiree Stentoj probably in the 1960s. The lamp is made of glazed stoneware. It has a beautiful glazing in tones of dark Yellow. The Désirée Porcelain Factory was founded in 1964 by H.C. Torbol. Mister Torbol was the formerly director and production manager at Bing & Grondahl. Bing & Grondahl was a Danish porcelain manufacturer. In 1987 the company merged with the Royal Porcelain Factory under the name Royal Copenhagen.
